TJ Mahoney Appointed Program Manager Railserve LEAF® GenSet Locomotives

ATLANTA, GA—July 17, 2012 (James Street Media Services)—Railserve, the leading North American provider of in-plant rail switching and associated services, has appointed TJ Mahoney as program manager for Railserve LEAF® GenSet locomotives.

"We're excited about the market's very positive reaction to our green, economical locomotive," says Railserve president Timothy Benjamin. "We needed a proven industry professional who can take the marketing of this product to the next level, and TJ is exactly the person for this task."

Most recently Mahoney was a business manager at SGS, which serves the oil, gas and industrial markets. Since joining the firm in 2003, Mahoney was responsible for developing and managing several rail switching operations. He has also held positions with Vulcan Chemicals and Exxon Chemical. Mahoney holds an MBA from Louisiana State University.

"I look forward to building on the momentum of the Railserve team. They've already placed 31 LEAF locomotives in service," Mahoney says. The Railserve LEAF GenSet locomotives are the most cost-effective GenSets on the market, cutting fuel consumption up to 60% compared with conventional locomotives. The environmental benefits also include reductions of NOx by 76%.
